I'm Karan, an independent software developer in India. Dekrypt Security is my studio: one person, so the person you talk to is the person who designs it and writes the code.

What I build

Websites, web apps, Android and iOS apps, and small tools. I also help individuals and small businesses set up their own accounts and devices safely. Security is part of how I build, not a review at the end.

Why security from the start

Most problems on small and mid-sized websites are not exotic. They come from defaults nobody changed: missing protections, passwords left in code, forms that trust whatever they are sent, and a long tail of third-party scripts. I remove those on day one, when it is cheapest to do.

How I work

• I scope the work, build it and hand it over myself. There are no hand-offs and no account managers.
• I reply to new enquiries within 2 business days.
• You get a written plan and a price before any work starts.
• You own the hosting and accounts, so you are never locked in to me.

What I decline

• Work outside what I can do well. I say so at the start rather than halfway through.
• Very large systems, and round-the-clock support.
• Copywriting and photography. I structure and edit your content; I do not write it.
