Terminal UI for scanning local ports, seeing which are in use and by which process, and reserving free ones. Built with Textual.

Python

linux-forensics-collector

Zero-dependency Python script that collects system information, logs, persistence locations and execution history from a Linux host into a text and a JSON report.

whisperdrop

Burn-after-reading pastebin. Text is encrypted in the browser with AES-256-GCM; the key stays in the URL fragment, and the server deletes the paste after one read.

What it does

  • AES-256-GCM via the Web Crypto API, key generated in the browser
  • Server stores only ciphertext and IV
  • Paste deleted on first read; unread pastes swept after 24 hours
  • Vanilla JS front end, Express back end with an in-memory store

Install

Run locally

npm install

# Terminal 1 — API server (port 3000)
npm run dev:server

# Terminal 2 — frontend (Vite, port 5173)
npm run dev:client

Open http://localhost:5173. The README describes it as a demo project and lists what to add for production use.
